As part of the Co-ops’s £11m store expansion programme in Scotland, we have just completed the installation of a 715kVA generator at the new 12,000 sq ft Co-op distribution centre at Inverness Airport Business Park.

We supplied the changeover panel along with the 715kVA genset and 5000ltr fuel tank. This is a short-term synchronising changeover system for seamless return to mains.

Andy Perry, the Co-op’s Logistics Director, said: “With ambitious plans to continue to open new stores, the site will ensure we can continue to serve communities for decades to come.”

We have provided backup power to some of the largest retail distribution centres across the UK including all the major multiple grocery retailers.
