We have just commissioned a two-set synchronising generator system, including P275 Perkins 1506 engine and P110 Perkins P114 engine, for a floating fish feeding barge off the coast of Skye.

Before heading offshore to install the system, our workshop completed an up-fit of the DSE8610 load sharing synchronising control modules, and full testing, including a bespoke synchronising contactor panel, accommodation over-ride panel and remote e-stops.

Despite some challenging weather conditions which put us under real time-constraints, the commissioning was successfully carried out with the cooperation of site engineers. Teamwork makes the dream work!
